The big Election Issue – Beach Shoes

July 8, 2008

The U.S. Presidential election due to take place in November is turning into a strange affair. First neither party could produce a credible candidate. Although it says a lot of good things about the level headedness of most Americans that they would not touch the job with a very long stick, it is hardly reassuring for the rest of the world that one candidate is a geriatric while the other is a man so shallow he could drown in quarter of an inch of water.
And then there is the question of flip-flops. Why is everybody talking about flip – flops or beach shoes as they are more formally known.
Here is a story from Huffington Post today Barak Obama’s flip-flops.
Obama Flip Flops

And if the Democrats are so worried about Obama’s flip – flops they should have picked Hillary. You can be sure she would not be seen dead in anything but Birkenstocks.
