All day I have been reading of how wonderful Barak Obama must be because the really big names of news reporting have been clamouring to join him on his Middle East trip.
I’m not sure what leaves me more gobsmacked, the arrogance of the man or the naivete of those around him. His “people” seem to truly believe he will go to the most deeply divided region in the world and heal 5000 year old conflicts with his talk of hopes, dreams and visions.
What effing planet do these wankers live on? The big name newshounds are following the scent of the biggest possible story. They think he might get shot or blown up by a suicide bomber. Get real.
